Well the baby boy is getting a little lower, which is a good thing, but still no progress anyway else. Guess we'll just have to see how things are in a few weeks. I am afraid he may just want to stay for awhile longer than I would like. Hailey didn't come until after 41 weeks and she was measuring smaller than he is. Well actually she really didn't ever decide to come at all, she was a c-section and stayed pretty high up there. There is a lot of movement going on in their so hopefully he just moves himself right out....I think that is very wishful thinking. It's pretty much just a waiting game now. I am just ready for him to be here.

We have been enjoying the warm weather by swimming and playing with bubbles almost everyday!!!! My cute little girl even has cute little tan lines from her swimming suit. Thank goodness she has skin like her daddy :) Anyways I couldn't resist taking pix of her happy happy smile!!!! She would stay in the water all day if we let her. She just loves it!!!!

We are getting excited, still working on a middle name and getting things all ready for him to enter our happy little family. I hope Hailey is as excited as we are :) She is going to be a fun big sister for him :)

So I would just like to announce that after swimming today, before her bath, Eric asked Hailey if she needed to go potty and she sat on her potty chair and really went :) We are so excited for her :) We are making progress!!!! Good Job Hailey!!!!

Family Prayer part 2

So tonight I asked Hailey if she was ready to go night night and as she was rubbing her eyes she shook her head and said no no. Then she went over and grabbed her blanket and said " night night " so off to bed we went. As I carried her into her room I got about 3 steps through the door and she immediately got a huge grin on her face (wish I could have caught it on camera) and she folded her arms. Oh my heart melted because I didn't even say the word prayer or anything she just knows now that we pray before bed. Oh it was just such a beautiful moment to know that she is learning to pray before bed and likes it :) Such a sweet girl she is. I can just see us in the future being way busy and her reminding us not to forget our prayers. It is so wonderful how little children can make us feel so close to our Heavenly Father. We are so blessed to have her!!!!

Family Prayer

So every night Hailey and I have been reading scriptures and saying prayers together. Eric is away at school during this time and she is usually asleep before he comes home, but last night Hailey was up pretty late and Eric got to have family prayer with us. It was such a wonderful feeling to all be together saying our night time prayer. Hailey is so dang cute because she folds her arms and will keep them folded for the whole prayer. She is to the point now when I say " Hailey ready to go night night?" she will run over with her arms folded and blink her eyes a lot (trying to close them) she hasn't gotten the whole eyes closed part yet but she will say "ama" at the end of the prayer for "amen" I love hearing her little "ama". She also folds her arm when she is in her high chair for like a second before reaching for her food. I just can't believe how much she is learning everyday. Watching her discover our world and be excited about so many things brings us so much happiness. Love you Hailey!!!!

Things I can do All by myself (that mommy isn't ready for)

So the last couple of days I have caught Hailey doing things I didn't know she could do all on her own. The other day I was making dinner and Hailey was in our living room. I heard her make her ( I'm stuck) noise and thought "oh great what has she gotten into or onto today" well I was very surprised to see her like this half in half on her stroller so before helping her I laughed and had to grab the camera, by the time I got the picture I realized she was able to get even more into her stroller on her own and the next couple of pix show that she can get in it all by herself.

Today I was taking a shower and I though I heard water start to run (besides the shower water) and I got nervous thinking that she climbed in the tub and turned on the water. A big fear of mine, since she has learned how to get in the tub on her own, is that she will discover how to turn on the hot water and get burned, so I threw our shower curtain open, but she was not in the tub. She learned how to climb on the toilet, turn on the sink faucet, get her toothbrush, and yep brush her own teeth.

Hailey also has learned how to undress herself completely diaper and all. This is a picture of her after she has taken off her outfit for the day and replaced it with just her Mickey beanie. I guess that is all she wanted to wear that day :)

Hailey also loves to help with the laundry which means throwing all the folded clothes out of the basket or throwing whatever she can find into our dryer while I am taking the clothes out of it.

She is also going to be in a wedding in July as the flower girl and loves to practice throwing the petals :)

So anyways our little 16 month old is growing up way too fast and is discovering new things she can do by herself everyday. I never know what to expect when walk into a room she is playing in, but we are loving every minute of our sweet baby girl and all her energy!!!! She is so so much fun and such a good baby girl. I think she is going to love being a big sister!!!! <3We are blessed everyday by her <3

So on Valentine's Day 2009 Eric and I found out we were pregnant with Hailey. We weren't planning on opening the envelope, but on Valentine's Day morning this year I woke up really anxious and all I could think about was this little baby inside of me. Eric and I (for some reason) were just like 90% sure we were having a boy this time. Just a feeling I guess maybe mother intuition who knows, but Eric really felt it too. When we saw our ultra sound Eric said it is a boy because the baby was kicking like a boy :) I was just cracking up at this, he is so silly anyways Eric kept on teasing me like "oh what is this and pretending like he was going to peek in the envelope or something" so that wasn't helping me trying to ignore the little envelope anyways after a lot of going back and forth ( because we honestly had so much fun last time with Hailey being a surprise) we decided ( since we both really already new in our hearts that it's a boy) to just look at it and see what it would be like knowing this time around so we opened it and dundadadun.... IT'S A BOY !!!! WERE HAVING A BABY BOY THIS SUMMER!!!! HAILEY IS GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE BROTHER!!!! and we are just so so excited!!!! So we know this time. Not sure what we will do with the next ones, but I can't wait to go shopping :) And Eric has this huge everlasting grin on his face that he is having a son :) I know I am way excited, but you should just see how excited Eric is :) Hailey is his little girl and loves him to death and Eric is just the happiest thing when he is playing with her and cuddling her, but I know us having a boy is so exciting for him :)

So we had our 20 week ultra sound today and everything looks great. Our little baby moved a ton and would just kick and kick it's legs. It is so amazing to see life moving inside of you :) The Dr. said the baby is developing well and looks healthy and strong :) I just can't get over how exciting it is to be pregnant ok anyways....When I was pregnant with Hailey we didn't find out the sex until she was born and that was so fun to have a surprise!!!! We really enjoyed it. So for this time our plan was to have another surprise, but then I started going back and forth between knowing and not knowing well when Eric and I got to the Dr. I was still unsure...... Anyways it is definitely for sure we are having a ..... BABY :) so we didn't find out and we will be having another surprise except this time we had him send the results home in an envelope. Yep it is sitting right there on the table just wanting to be opened so until we change our minds (which may not happen because Eric really likes it being a surprise ) we will just have to wait until summer.... so until then we love you little baby and anxiously await for your arrival :)

We had so much fun at Disneyland on Wednesday. When we got to the park music was playing and Hailey was laughing and dancing away in her stroller. We saw Chip n' Dale and Hailey was so excited they ran around and played tag with her and peek-a-boo. Hailey wanted to hug them so she would scrunch down real low and pat her leg because that is what she does for our dog Rusty to come to her, anyways they just kept on running away and Hailey would laugh and chase them. I felt bad because a long line was forming, so we went over to Goofy to where there was no line. She went up to him, arms outstretched to hug him. He gave her a big hug and would not let her go. Each time I went to get Hailey, he would make a funny noise and turn away holding her and Hailey would wave bye to me so that she could stay with him. Well then a line started forming there too and I was trying to let other people have a turn, but Goofy was being silly and wouldn't let her go. He would just tickle her with his ear (Hailey loves fuzzy things on her cheek) and hug her. Finally one of the people that stands out there to watch the characters convinced Goofy to let her go, but he gave her lots of kisses first. It was so much fun to have her actually interact with characters and play around. I love going when the park is not very crowded. It was a really fun Disney day!!!!

I just wanted to put up some pictures of what Hailey has been up to lately. Her new favorite thing is too climb up her slide and slide down. She does this over and over and loves to roll her toys down it too!!!! She also loves to slide down all different ways she is so funny with it. Hailey also loves the water especially her bath. She has to be in there at least 15 minutes. I think it is her favorite place to play. We have to keep our bathroom door closed or she will climb in there or the shower any chance she gets. You can see from the pix how much she loves it :) We also took her to Disneyland for the first time. We spent all day there and I don't think she napped a wink. She would just sit as far forward as she could her stroller to see everything. When we first got in the park she was the first to spot Mickey and started pointing and saying his name over and over, so cute we had to get a pix right away. She was so good there!!!! Usually she doesn't like being stuck in her stroller or anything, but she was so entertained I don't think she noticed. Also, she loves rocking her babies in her baby crib. It is so funny she throws anything in there and rocks it as fast as she can. Hailey also is saying lots of words and makes lots of animals noises. Her favorite words are duck and ball. She says them like 50 times a day and if she sees animals on t.v. or in a book she stops whatever she is doing to say there sound. She is just growing up so fast and getting so smart. We love teaching her new things everyday and watching her discover and get excited about our world. She is so so much fun!!!!

Hailey will be a big sister this summer :) we are so excited :) I go to the doctor in November to find out the approximate due date and everything....but two home test were positive so we are getting ready :) Morning sickness is already here....yuck....but the excitement out-ways it all!!!! We love our sweet Hailey so so much and already love the one on the way :) I am so glad they will be so close together it is going to be so much fun!!!!

Well yesterday Hailey turned 11 months old. We love her so much. Her new favorite thing to do is get her little purse and put things in it and show you what is inside and then take them out as fast she can throwing them everywhere. She absolutely loves to carry things wherever she walks, especially her purse. She also loves throwing a ball to our doggy and then giggles when he brings it back to her. They keep each other entertained and they are so funny to watch. Rusty (our dog) is so good with her :) She also loves to get a blanket and use it to play peek-a-boo with. She is really funny because she sometimes tries to put the blanket on her head and misses so like only 1/2 of her head is covered so then she closes her eyes and sits really still (this is about the only time she sits still) I am not sure if she thinks she is hiding or what, but then she will pull off the blanket really fast and give you the cheesiest smile....so so funny. She also likes anything that she can shake and or clank to make noise, the louder the better :) Oh and the other day I walked into our living room and she had completely undressed herself, diaper, socks and all....crazy baby but there she was climbing into our dogs bed buck naked and then walking around as fast as she could, she looked so happy, but I had to get a diaper back on her. Hailey has also learned how to climb up onto our fireplace and how to get back down safely (thank goodness) she gets up there because that is where we have our terrarium for our leopard gecko (zippy) who is 14years old I have had him since I was 12. Anyways she loves to look at him and watch him walk around. We are trying to get her to say lizard or zippy, but no luck yet. Ok so that's our little update for her. We love you Hailey :)

Hey everyone our 10 1/2 month old is walking :) She has been walking by hanging on to people for the last couple of months, but today she took her first steps all by herself !!!! The best part is that we were at Hailey's great grandma (GG's) House celebrating GG's birthday. GG turned 71 today and Hailey wanted to give her a special birthday surprise by walking for her. It is just so exciting to watch her walk back and forth between us. Thank you to everyone who has helped her practice walking, that is all she has wanted to do the last couple of weeks is hang onto anything she can and walk, and I have made sure to carry my video camera everywhere and it is a good thing too because we were able to catch her first steps on camera :) We love you sweet girl, congratulations on taking your very first steps!!!! Love ya!!!!

Hailey has been so cute lately. She loves loves loves to swim in her little pool. She just splashes all around and stands up and plops down so that she can make the water splash really big. She loves getting it on her face and then just starts to laugh. She also loves to splash at our puppy dog Rusty when he runs by. She also loves playing in her toy floaty car inside the house, she crawls in and out of it and loves to beep the horn on it. She is just so funny. Everyday is full of new laughs and joys. Hey everyone our little baby girl is almost 10 months old. It just goes by so fast. We have been so blessed by our sweet girl, she makes us smile and laugh everyday. Some new things she is doing are.... standing on her own for about 10 seconds like she uses an object to help herself stand and then she will let go and smile and give a little giggle, looking at pictures and recognizing people in them, she says Jesus when we show her his picture :) Getting very clingy to her mama (I feel so loved : > ) She is learning how to use a spoon and tries to feed herself which ends up in a huge mess, and she just loves loves water. We go outside to water our grass and flowers and she loves to try and catch the water coming out of the hose or the water that drips off of our hanging water pots. When she touches it she giggles and splashes it even more and when it gets on her face her whole face lights up and she gets the biggest smile and makes the funniest laugh ever :) We just love her so very much and each day brings new joy and surprises!!!! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer :)

Hailey had a lot of fun with her friends Dex, Gwen, Evelyn, and Aubrey. Thanks guys for a great lunch!!!! She also is having a lot of fun walking with her toy and standing in her crib or anywhere she can. The other night I thought she was asleep and went to go and turn off her night light and found her as seen in the pix. Then the other day she was in her crib taking a nap and I heard her mobile music turn on and found her standing next to it pushing the buttons (guess she wanted to hear some music :) I just love watching her walk with the help of her toy lawn mower thing she is so little and cute :) Oh and she loves to be a drummer and use our pots and pans as instruments in the kitchen.

Hailey has been learning her very first words :) We are so excited for her. She has learned to say 'up' and put her arms up in the air, especially when she wants out of her saucer or pack n play, she crawls around the house following me saying 'ababamama' or just 'mama' when Eric has her and she reaches for me. She has been saying dada for a long time and now says it a lot when Eric comes home from work just like to herself like a song dadadadada, she knows the word clap and claps her hands, if you ask her where's my eyes???? she will try and grab your eyes off your face (so watch out) she is not always gentle, and she will copy you waving hi, and says 'hahahaha' , but she hasn't said hi yet and now we are working on the word go. :) We are just having so much fun with her.... I am not sure why she mostly calls me 'ababamama, but I think it is really funny :) oh and when she climbs up on something or stands holding on to something she thinks she is so tricky and does this cute little 'look at me' laugh and looks at you to see if you are watching and if you don't look at her she laughs and screams louder until you look at her :) so so funny :) and lastly she is leaning the word uhah and no, she is pretty good to stop when you say it to her, but sometimes she will stop for a second and then crawl or move faster towards what she knows she shouldn't be getting or look at you and two little sniffles like she is sad that you told her no what a silly baby girl :)

Well yesterday, the first day of Summer, our little girl decided it was time to crawl and climb. She is just gogogo everywhere and pulling herself up and climbing into and onto everything she tests out and decides is steady enough to support her. She is so cute.... she wiggles and tries to shake what she is going to pull herself up on first and then she goes right on up, however, she doesn't always guess right and sometimes gets scared when the object moves on her and she plops down. It is definitely time to baby proof our home and put up all of pretty things that she is just so drawn to. Of course she is now wanting everything she is not suppose to be getting. What a crazy little baby. I should of known she would be into everything she has just been so energetic since before day one. It will be so much fun chasing her around :)

8 month(almost) check up

Well our doctor is finally happy with Hailey's weight :) she is growing just as she should be, supplementing with formula has really helped her gain a little and she is so much happier now :) She is weighing at 16 pounds 3 ounces and is 28 inches long, so still a little slim for her height, but way way better than before. So she has gained exactly 3 pounds and grown about an inch and 1/2 since her last appointment which was 2 months ago :) so yeah for Hailey :) It feels so great to have a happy and healthy baby girl!!!!

So our little girl is just doing so many new things. she has learned how to pull herself up onto her knees and loves to try and get our dvd player, if she is scooting (not really crawling yet) towards something she can't have and we tell her no or say uhah she looks at us for a minute and then she tries to move towards it faster, she loves to get on her hands and her feet so she is like an upside down v and rock back and forth, she loves her little tikes outdoor swing, she loves to walk around when we hold her hands :) she takes a couple of steps and then stands and does like a little hula dance and and then takes a few more steps, she loved going swimming in great grandma's pool, she has learned the words (up) and (hugs), she loves to hug her stuffed animals and squeeze them really tight and lets out a high pitched scream, she has developed different (calls) for Eric and me, she says lots of different sounds, but nothing cognitivaley yet (mmmmmmmmmmmmammmma) was finally one of them :) she can go from a crawling to a sitting position and back again,and can sit up from a laying down position, she loves to (read) books meaning she opens them and turns the pages and makes sounds as she does it, and she is working on giving high fives :) i just can't believe how much she is growing up :) it is all so exciting :)oh also her top teeth are coming in, the teething stage is no fun, but it is going better than when she got her bottom two so that is good. oh and one more thing she loves to play with our puppy dog Rusty she lays down and pats her hand at him until he comes over to her with a toy and then they play tug a war with it or he runs away and she scoots after him and she is learning to roll his ball to him :) it is so much fun to watch :) we love you Hailey :)

Mother's Day

I had the most amazing 1st Mother's Day!!!! Eric gave me a beautiful arrangement of flowers to hang on our porch and a really neat book by President Uchdorft. He even went all out and made me chocolate and banana crepes! They were so so yummy and reminded me of when I was in Paris, but my most special present was a card with our little Hailey's hand print on it!!!! That was the very best and so sweet of them!!!! I really love being a mom to our sweet baby girl!!!! She is just so perfect, even if she does never sleep and can be heard 3 blocks away :) We just love her so much!!!! Thanks babe and baby for the most special day ever!!!!

Hailey had so much fun visiting her cousin Jacob. This studly little guy is 3 months younger than her, but is about the same weight and height. They were so cute together. Hailey loved helping make his play mat move around for him and would laugh as she shook it all around and Jacob loved watching all of his toys shake :) It was a very fun day!!!

I can't believe she is already 6 months. It has gone by so fast. We love her so much!!!! Wow, She is just so full of joy and smiles and laughs everyday!!!! She is just the best little baby girl!!!! Happy 6 months princess Hailey!!!!

Hailey had a great fun first Easter!!!! She loved coloring eggs with us and chewing on everything that she got in her Easter basket! She also had a fun time going on an Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The Easter Bunny got her lots of stuff to get her ready for our fun summer vacations at the lake like swimsuits and sun hats and a rashgaurd. Our puppy Rusty also had a very fun time playing with the Easter Eggs :) Happy Easter Everyone!!!!

Rice Cereal

Well are little girl is really growing up. She is just nursing all the time and for a really long time each time. I was concerned that she wasn't getting enough food, because she always seemed hungry. So yesterday we gave her her first taste of rice cereal and she loved it! I couldn't feed it to her fast enough. And after she ate, she took a little nap :) Like 20 minutes, which lately is good for her. So, hopefully this rice cereal will keep her full and happy :) Our doctor wanted her to gain a little more weight by the next appointment anyways so this should help with that also :) We just love her so much and want her to be happy and healthy. I can't believe she is already ready to start eating solids....it goes by so fast.

Well my 4 month old officially has her two bottom teeth!!!! I can't believe she already has teeth :( It goes by so so fast. For the past few weeks I thought Hailey might be on the brink of teething because she had a constant runny nose, which some say comes with teething because the body creates more saliva, and I was sure she wasn't sick. Anyways, she had just been chewing on everything and always drooling and getting really congested, then came the very rough night were nothing could comfort her and my wonderful mom came over and we sat up with Hailey all night so she was able to breath because she had been so congested that we couldn't lay her down without her nose filling with mucous stuff and she was just crying which made the congestion worse, so we sat up with her so she could sleep comfy....what a long night, but guess what the next day on March 1, 2010 up came a tooth :) Her very first pearly white on the bottom left front:) She is so cute with her little (very Sharp) tooth and this whole past week she just chews chews chews and then last night was another night of her being all grumpy and really congested and I thought "she must be getting another tooth" because there was another bump next to her already little tooth and tada yup this morning her second little tooth is barely peaking through, but it is definitely there so now she has her two bottom teeth. Oh and the good news is too that after her first tooth came in we got these terrific pill things that dissolve in her mouth and really seem to take the edge off of any discomfort she is having, so when I see her chewing on anything she gets a hold of and she does her little ( I am not feeling good ) cry I give her the pills and she is better and can even fall asleep!!!! so hurray for those because it is really helping her :)

We had a great Valentine's Day!!!! Hailey was so pretty in her red dress and adorable bib :) and Grandma and Grandpa spoiled her with lots of love and fun gifts :) However, Hailey was scared of one of her presents and still gets a big pouty face if you show it to her and that is the orange stuffed animal that goes along with the Dr. Suess Foot book. She is scared of it and does not like it all and tries to push it away from her if you put it too close, it is just so funny that she is scared of it. Maybe she will like in a month or two. Anyways we hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day and are enjoying the Olympics :) GO TEAM USA!!!!

Ok so we have been really busy these past few weeks, but life has been great! :) Our little girl is just growing up too fast, but we love how much she smiles and how happy she is. She is sleeping much better now and that makes mommy very very happy! Hailey really likes watching the olympics and loves to "read" books. If you give her a book she will chew on it, but she also turns it around in her hands and tries to turn the pages of it or grab the images on the page. She has her "Pretty Pink Purse book" that is full of sparkly glittery pages and she tries to grab the specs of glitter off of the page. She is just so alert and curious about everything!!!! Here are some pictures of her "reading" to her stuffed animals :) Playing on her jungle mat, and once again covering her eyes, except this time it is with her beanie, she is such a silly girl :)

Well yesterday Hailey rolled over from her back to her stomach for the first time :) I was such a proud mom and grabbed our video camera, but of course every time I tried to catch her on video she would just lay there smiling. She rolled over 3 times :) I had her on a blanket and was trying to make her reach for her stuffed animal mousey. Well to my surprise she got really frustrated that I kept moving it away from her as she reached for it, so she kicked her legs really crazily (like she always does when she is mad) and tada!!!!!!!!! she kicked hard enough to roll her self over :) I was soooooooo excited I put her back on her back and with a lot of effort she eventually did it twice more. :) Today I tried to make her do it again, but no luck.... maybe tomorrow :)

Right now Hailey's favorite toy is her moose. She loves to feel the softness and put his ears in her mouth and hang onto the little rings and its' feet. She is so proud of herself when she can grab onto something and shake it around. When I show her her moose and bring it close to her she gets so excited and usually does this little squeal and holds her arms out to the side and shakes them around. I am showing her her toy moose in the picture of her in the pink dress and she is so excited :)

I've been waiting for her to be big enough to try this one :) she is still kind of too small for it though she just kind of sits there not really sure what to do with it, but we have fun swinging her and spinning her around in it. Maybe next month or so she will bounce in it and stuff :) It is really a cool little jumper :)

I haven't laughed this much in a long time.... so for Christmas Hailey got lots of pretty headbands and bows, well today I put one on her when we went to the doctors. She was so pretty in her pink, but I don't think she wanted to wear her headband because she grabbed hold of it along with her ear and started to pull. The poor girl was starting to cry because her ear was being pulled, but she didn't realize it was her pulling her own ear. I finally got her ear free from her very tight grasp and repositioned the headband. Then when I went to give the receptionist the paperwork I looked down and Hailey had pulled her headband completely off and was waving her arm around like crazy with it, so excited, like she had achieved a great accomplishment, so we left the headband off for the rest of the doctor visit and put it back on in the car so she could look lovely for her play date with her cousin Lacey. Well she fell asleep in the carseat so when we got to my aunts we just let her stay asleep in it while we ate lunch. Once we were finished eating my cousin walked over to check on the girls and this is how we found Hailey.... I just couldn't stop laughing :) It was like she was using her headband as one of those sleeping eye mask things. It was just so funny to find her like that.

Today Eric and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary!!!! They have been a very happy 3 years full of lots of joy and laughs!!!! I am so thankful for our temple marriage and our wonderful little family!!!! I am so blessed. He is a wonderful husband and great daddy. What an awesome life we have together :)

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and great New Year!!!! It was so exciting to watch Hailey on her first Christmas and be together with family. On Saturday, December 26th we had Hailey blessed in our home. It was such a special day because a lot of our family was able to participate in her blessing. It was a neat experience to have such a strong spirit of love and family fill our home!!!! Here are some pictures of Hailey in the first of her 3 white dresses :) There is also a picture of her in her pretty pink tutu that Grandma gave her, one of Uncle Dustin, Hailey, and me on her blessing day, one of Great-Grandpa holding his two great-grandaughters, her first piggy back ride given by daddy, Hailey and Grandpa inside the Downey Rose Float....My dad drives the Rose Float in the New Years Day parade, it is so exciting to watch and help decorate the float and then see it on t.v. My dad loves it :), and one picture of her with a huge pretty grin while I was reading her a story :) Hailey loves being read too. Her eyes get so big each time I turn the page. She is just growing so fast. She smiles, laughs, and "talks" all the time. She is so much fun and tries to interact with anyone who talks to her. We just love our little girl to pieces!!!!

I love the Christmas season!!!! Especially because family comes to visit!!!! My cousin Amber came from Utah with her little girl Lacey Noelle!!!! Her and Hailey are just a week a day and 2 minutes apart :) We were so excited to meet little Lacey for the first time :) More family is coming into town today :) I love the Holidays!!!! Hailey loves her jungle gym mat. She loves to look at the lights, listen to the music, and she has started to swing her hands at the little jungle animals that hang from it and kicks her legs all over. Our little girl is so alert and awake all the time. She hardly ever sleeps. It exhaust me, but I am happy that she is so entertaining. Really I think she slept for maybe 6 hours in two days....the last two nights have been a little better, but we are still up more than we are asleep. I was thinking, well if she is awake most of the night then she will sleep during the day or at least take a long nap, then I could sleep too, but nope, she stays up during the day and night. She just always has to be watching what is going on :) Right now I think I am most thankful for grandma and great grandma coming over to hold and entertain her so I can sleep for a couple of hours!!!! Families are so great and I am so thankful for mine and all they do for Eric, Hailey, and me!!!! Thanks family:)

Hailey Nicole

On October 18th (Heather's birthday) she had an extra special surprise, here water broke at about 10:20p.m. So she and Eric went to the hospital. Heather thought she would try to labor without an epiderel....big mistake....after 7 and a half hours she got the epiderel and things felt much better for about 3 hours until the epideral boost button, that you push when you begin to feel pain again, quit working. So the contractions were very painful until the anisthesiologist came in to give her a direct dose again. Well all in all after about 18 hours of labor and only 4 cm dialated they decided to do a c-section. Hailey was turned down how she should be, but laying on her side instead of looking downwards so she was going more like at an angle instead of straight so it was hindering the progression. Anyways, We are just so happy she is here and is healthy and very strong. Being parents brings more joy than anything else in the whole universe. We love our Hailey so much and feel so blessed to have her!!!!

It's the last month and I am very ready. I am really looking forward to being able to sleep on my stomach again. I think I miss that more than anything. It's my favorite way to sleep and I have not been able to forever. I also am looking forward to my feet and the rest of me being not swollen anymore. Eric came home from work the other day and after giving me a kiss he looks at me and goes.... babe even your forehead is swollen....thanks alot.....hahaha. It was the truth though. I could press my finger on my forehead and a little dent would be there :( oh well I guess it is all apart of getting to become a mother :) and pretty soon I hopefully will be back to my normal self. Also, this morning I was walking to our garage to get into the car to go to my doctors appointment. I must have stood at the little side garage door for about 20 seconds trying to open it except I was using my car remote thing and not the key.... when I realized what I was doing I just started to laugh....I think the stuff they say about loosing some of your mind while you are pregnant has taken affect on me, lets just say a few things have happened lately that has brought Eric a lot of laughter. Anyways we both are super excited for this little baby, especially to find out if it is a boy or girl :) Whatever it is, it is very active and moves and jumps around all of the time and likes to play tag with Eric meaning that Eric can tap on my stomach and the baby will start kicking or hitting back in that same spot. If Eric starts tapping in another spot the baby moves there. It is really neat!!!!

On September 11th it was Eric's happy birthday!!!! It was also our ward conference temple night. So after surprising him at work with a tres leches cake and opening presents, we went to the temple. It was a very nice way to spend his birthday!!!!

I am so happy for my cousin Eric and his beautiful bride Nicole. They were married in the San Diego Temple and had such a beautiful sealing and reception!!!! It was so great to see them be married :) We love Nicole and her family!!!! Weddings are so much fun :)

Lake Shasta

Hey Everyone,
I just got back from Lake Shasta!!!! It is my favorite place in the whole entire world!!!! I love how beautiful it is and all of the memories that have been made there with my family!!!! We go on a house boat every year for a fun week full of water skiing, jet skiing, intense card games, hiking, crazy tube rides, competitions of jumping, diving, and flipping off the house boat roof, starry nights full of shooting stars, watching wild life, and just enjoying our big family :) I love it there! I did not ski this year because of our little one on the way, but I did get to take it on careful jet ski rides, kayaks, a hike, and smooth, calm inner tube rides :) I am so excited for next year when our baby will get to experience Lake Shasta for reals!!!! He or she may be a little too young to ski, but it definitely will have fun jet ski rides :>
